Vienna-based Bitpanda Raises $52 Million For European Expansion

Bitpanda founded in 2014, is a Vienna, Austria based cryptocurrency exchange platform. It also allows investing in commodities like gold, silver etc.

Bitpanda recently announced that it has finished series A of funding and raised about $52 million by selling its IEOs.

Valar Ventures, Speedinvest were major investors in the fundraising.

It is also being reported that it is the fastest Europe’s largest Series A funding round till date.

According to CEO of Bitpanda, Eric Demuth, “Our goal is to establish the bitpanda global exchange with the lowest fees for fiat-to-crypto trading in the industry. Bitpanda has been around since 2014 and holds an excellent reputation.”
